DACHSER extends charter activities long-term
DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics is shoring up its charter program on the route between Hong Kong and Europe with a long-term contract. This ensures that the logistics provider will be in a position to offer its customers reliable air freight capacity from January 2022 out to March 2024.
Oversized airfreight for Airbus subsidiary
DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics organized a special airfreight transport: Satair, an Airbus subsidiary and one of the world’s leading suppliers of spare parts for airplanes and helicopters, requested a charter service for an A320 horizontal stabilizer.
DACHSER expands capacity in France
DACHSER is expanding its network in France again: in autumn 2021, the logistics provider relocated two branches in the north and the southeast of the country to larger facilities. The new transit terminals in Rouen (in the Normandy region) and in Annecy (in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region) are DACHSER’s response to dynamic growth in the market.
New contract logistics warehouse in Hong Kong
DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics has relocated its previous warehouse in Hong Kong. The new site offers the logistics provider 2,800 m2 on which to carry out contract logistics services for its customers.
Turning trash into cash
A dedicated value chain for recyclable trash—that’s what young people in Zambia have created with their Trash4Cash project. Through a German-Zambian youth exchange program with DACHSER trainees, the Zambian team learned a great deal about German recycling depots and returned home ready to turn their trash into cash. DACHSER supported the establishment of the recycling system together with the international children’s aid organization terre des hommes.

DACHSER charters world's largest cargo aircraft
DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics' international teams have chartered the world's largest cargo aircrafts, the Antonovs AN-124 and AN-225. The aircrafts transport medical goods from China to Austria on multiple occasions for a customer, after which DACHSER redistributed the goods through its overland network.
Evolution in goods handling
With a specially designed double-deck unit, a new technology standard is moving into DACHSER’s European transit terminals. Developing it was driven by the topics of driver ergonomics, occupational safety, and profitability.

DACHSER Erfurt continues along its growth trajectory
Logistics provider DACHSER is once again expanding its logistics center in Erfurt, Germany, and adding some 3,200 m2 of transit terminal space to its stock warehouse in the nearby Thörey commercial zone. This means that the DACHSER location now has 6,100 m2 of floor space available for industrial goods and a total of about 3,300 m2 for food. Operations at the new addition began on schedule at the start of September.
DACHSER renews IATA CEIV Pharma certification in Frankfurt
DACHSER's Frankfurt air and sea freight branch has once again received certification from IATA’s Center of Excellence for Independent Validators in Pharmaceutical Logistics (CEIV Pharma), demonstrating its capabilities in logistics services for the life science and healthcare industry.
