Vive la chimie: Ten years of DACHSER Chem-Logistics in France
Chemical products are everywhere in everyday life: soaps and laundry detergents, cosmetics, paints and inks, and even glues and adhesives. Then there are fine and special chemicals. They all play a key role for France, which in terms of revenue has Europe’s second-largest chemical industry. “Vive la chimie” also applies to DACHSER Chem-Logistics, which was celebrating ten years in France last year. In that time, the industry solution has secured a strong position in the groupage transport market for France’s chemical industry.

DACHSER enhances its strong air network with more of its own capacity in 2021
Building on work that began last year, DACHSER Air & Sea Logistics will be increasing its own capacity in 2021. Starting in mid-January, its air network will cover the Hong Kong-to-Frankfurt and Frankfurt-to-Chicago routes and returns.
Burkhard Eling takes up role of CEO at DACHSER
On January 1, Burkhard Eling became Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Spokesperson of the Executive Board of logistics provider DACHSER. He heads the Corporate Strategy, Human Resources, Marketing executive unit, which also includes Corporate Key Account Management and the Corporate Governance & Compliance division. Eling succeeds Bernhard Simon, who will take over as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the family-owned company in mid-2021.
DACHSER organizes vaccine logistics in Berlin
With Covid-19 vaccinations starting in Germany, DACHSER is stepping up to organize vaccine logistics in the German capital on behalf of the Berlin Senate.

New DACHSER branch in Finland begins operations
DACHSER recently began operations at a new logistics terminal in Finland. In opening its first cross-dock facility in Kerava in the greater Helsinki region, the logistics provider is expanding its services on the Finnish market.
