End of the Brexit transition phase: What next?

The deadline for an extension of the Brexit negotiations and thus a longer transitional phase has expired. This has increased the pressure to reach an agreement on future relations between Britain and the EU by the end of the year.

DACHSER appoints Andreas Fritsch as Managing Director European Logistics Germany

Andreas Fritsch will lead and further expand DACHSER's German business with the transport and storage of industrial goods as Managing Director European Logistics Germany from 1 January 2023. The experienced general manager of the logistics centre Ostwestfalen-Lippe in Bad Salzuflen near Bielefeld will take over this area of responsibility from COO Road Logistics Alexander Tonn who has led the German business unit of the European Logistics business line since 2017, and since his appointment to DACHSER's Management Board at the beginning of 2021 in a dual role.

DACHSER grows in Finland

DACHSER Finland will start operating a new logistics center in the Tampere region, in the south of the country, in the summer of 2024. The new facility for handling general cargo is located in Pirkkala at Tampere-Pirkkala Airport and will cover an area of over 50,000 sq. ft.
