Dachser Germany wins Lufthansa Cargo Quality Award in Q2
Dachser secures first place in Lufthansa Cargo’s latest Germany-wide quality initiative.
Four times a year the airline rewards the logistics company that has made the greatest contribution to maintaining Lufthansa Cargo’s high quality standards. In Q2 Dachser Air & Sea Logistics Germany secured first place, convincing Lufthansa thanks to its professional quality management.
The performance of various different logistics providers was assessed by comparing indicators such as the quality of the booking data and updates, the number of no shows (bookings with no freight delivery / late delivery), punctuality, whether goods had cleared customs and whether consignments were delivered in a physically flawless condition.
“We are continually optimizing our communication and information interfaces to ensure that our customers enjoy reliable high quality for their supply chains,” explains Jürgen Huber, General Manager of Dachser Air & Sea Logistics Germany. “The Lufthansa Cargo Quality Award enables us to assess our own quality by comparing it directly with that of our competitors.”
Dachser came out ahead of all of the other German air freight forwarders in contention, almost 30 in total.
